Splines


	Used mainly on fine furniture, the double spline joint has 10 times the gluing surface when compared to a plain joint. This make spline joinery one of the strongest and most beautiful methods of joinery used in woodworking. Although this type of joinery is much more time consuming to create, we are proud to include it in all of our flag display cases at no extra charge. We typically use walnut spines on our standard cherry, oak, and maple cases. Our walnut cases contain spline joints made of cherry. On orders with our Inlaid Stars© the splines will match the wood used for the stars.
